About Us

Your moments. Our focus.

The name Focalbox was inspired by the 1930's jukebox. An automated device that played selected music when a coin was inserted.

Focalbox captures those moments that play the true story of ones life in its most heartfelt state.

Founder, Hussein Sayre learned the artistic elements of motion through his youth as a dancer and hip-hop choreographer in San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle. He has a unique editing style, which makes his videos appealing to the eye. He can visualize movement through instrumental and lyric, allowing both to work together seamlessly. He became professionally involved with video in 2010.

Co-founder, Sopheak Duong is a portrait and landscape photographer.

His first years were spent taking photos of family and friends.

His goal is to show the beauty, grace, strength, and emotion of people. He focuses on non-models and places regular people in exaggerated situations that highlight an aspect of who they are.

He looks for a sense of defiance and fortitude in his work. He became professionally involved with photography in 2011.
