Cinematography FAQ

What is your price range?
Please see Wedding Packages in the Cinema and Photo tab. Our packages can be customized to any client’s preference.

Why is video important for a wedding?

We take pride in the way we visualize your wedding day. It is life at its richest and most beautiful, not staged or contrived. Not every videographer can capture these moments as they were originally intended... for you, your family and friends to celebrate your special day in a timeless motion picture. Thats where we come in.

How long do you keep RAW footage?

We keep RAW footage on file 3 months after you've received your edited video. We keep a master copy of your edited video on hand for 1 year after event date.

How long have you been in business?

We've been filming professionally since April 8, 2013.

Do you have back-up equipment?
Yes, we do. Every videographer has back-up gear in the event of an equipment malfunction. It is very important that we are able to continue to record the day regardless of any possible equipment failure.

What is your attire?
All of our videographers are unobtrusive and wear dark clothing as to not stand out physically.

What is the difference between Highlight and Full videos?

Highlight is a 3-5 min edited video, showing highlights of your wedding day. Full is a 15-25 min edited video from start to finish of your wedding day.

How long does it take to finish a video?
The Highlight is completed in 3-4 weeks and the Full is completed in 10-12 weeks.

How is sound captured?
We take great care in recording professional audio. For the ceremony, the groom is fitted with a small, unnoticeable lavalier mic to capture the vows. And for both the ceremony and reception, a professional field recorder and a shotgun mic is utilized in conjuction with audio directly captured from the camera.

What is your shooting style?
We believe in a “run and gun” approach. We capture every artistic angle possible, commiting to each shot with assurance before moving to the next shot.

Do you use bright blinding lights?
No. We use small 10-20 watt lights just to give a soft fill of light during the reception when the lighting is typically very dark.

What is your payment plan?

We require 25% deposit on the day of signing our contractual agreement. The remaining total will be due 30 days before the event. We use Paypal or check.
